At 6.7 metres with a 170 kW inboard and a quoted 50-knot maximum, it is built for people who want the acceleration and silence of an electric drivetrain and are willing to accept short sessions to get it. Think a fast tender, a lake or bay toy, or a second boat for someone who already owns a cruiser. It is emphatically not a family day boat — for that, the Spirit 25 or Leisure 28 make far more sense.
What the numbers mean
Fifty knots is a burst figure, and the yard is reasonably candid about that, quoting 28 knots as the sustained cruise. Rand publishes no battery capacity for the electric Source 22 in our data, which is the crucial missing number: at 170 kW, the difference between a small pack and a large one is the difference between a twenty-minute blast and a usable afternoon. Ask for capacity and a range-at-28-knots figure in writing.
