The Besla 1300 is a 12.94 m electric steel yacht, the middle of the Dutch builder's three-boat range and a step up in both length and power from the 1100. It suits an owner who wants more volume aboard for longer, slower cruising.
The numbers
Twin Fischer Panda electric motors here are the larger 2 × 20 kW pair, on a Victron lithium bank, for a 7.2-knot top speed. As on every Besla, a diesel range-extender generator is standard, so this is a series hybrid rather than a pure-electric boat. The battery is published in ampere-hours and range in hours only; neither is converted to kWh or nautical miles here.
